i found kong falling off somewhat funny! good for 30's effects though.
probably better than 05's one really, if they just cut out the boring boat trip mind i'd get it.

U guys might not belive me but they started making Peter Jackson's King Kong in 1996 but it was sent to theaters in 2005.And that is y the graphics are so kewl and good.

peter jackson actually wrote a rough draft of the 2005 king kong script but it was canceled because of godzilla and some other disney gorilla movie but he re-wrote the script because his rough draft was to comedic and universal wanted a more serious remake of the film

I agree, although Legend films do a far superior form of colourising movies, they recently did a set of Ray Harryhausen movies and they're great.......far superior than the colour in this clip!

he tried to make it before lord of the rings but Universal said it was too expensive and mighty joe young was coming out at the same time so he went and made lotr

I like the B+W version better myself. The man who started stop motion, that [King Kong] was the 2nd film he did. But I really like the newer version as well. I like the 49 Mighty Joe Young better as well.

heh i love how godzila is almost as big as the empire state building but he still loses in godzilla vs king kong

Pilot of this plane is Merian C. Cooper, director and producer of this movie. He was U.S. pilot on WWI. When was over, he decided to fight with bolsheviks on polish side. His grandgrandfather fight with British in gen.Pulaski's corp. Merian always wanted to pay off this debt. Polish-Soviet war was very dramatic,but succesful for Poland and whole Europe. 7th Kosciuszko's Escadrille (formed from American pilots) was great help in defending Lwow. THX Merian :)
