I remember playing this at my old house in my room when I was 10 or so... locked away for hours at a time playing it. 9 years later I am proud to be a gamer, proud to have played such a great game.
It's all the memories involved that make it so cool...
And most people would rather go out drinking that playing great games like these... well, sucks to be them. :)

This game is probably the most fantasy-like Final Fantasy. I adore this game, it has such great characters, the wonderful medieval setting and a beautiful, emotionally fulfilling story. Sometimes it seems, that this game has been overshadowed by FF7, FF8 and FF10, but I think it at least as good as those games, if not better. Final Fantasy IX is fairy tale and I agree with Hironobu Sakaguhci, this one's my favorite too.

i totaly agree with l337z0r. 9 years later when i look back at my life, i did many wrong things, but playing games were never one of those things. I grow up with them and learned a lot from them, they are part of my life, always were and always will be, even thou i don't have so much time from them. This song remind of my past and such a wonderfull times... Great
