there probally has been better goals scored, whether it's by a player from an amatuer side or a schoolboy playing for his school team or even manchester united, barca, real madrid or any other big club side but i think what makes this goal the best is the fact that England were one of the contries strongly fancied to win the World cup, plus the fact Maradona almost single handadly won that game and the hype surronding him at the time.
