They created the concept of ICONS.
They created the concept of windows.

IBM and Microsoft have dominated computing to the point of forcing Apple to back off their only advantage, RISC processing for graphical apps. I'm not saying that's a good thing. Only that you're incorrect.

All the concepts you listed are at least 20 years old and developed by others like Xerox, IBM, and the US government (first developed the integrated circuit for use in targeting systems)
Besides, if Macs would dominate the market it would seriously restrict the computing sector. Apple would have monopolistic control.
PC are an open source architecture, Macs are proprietary. Developers/manufacturers have to get permission and help to develop their products for Macs.
Macs are console computers.

Popularizing a concept isn't inventing it, and inventing a concept doesn't make you the god of that concept. Someone else would have done it, and might even have done it better.

And they sure as hell didn't do portable MP3 players first. SaeHan created the MPMan in 1997. The first-generation iPod was released FOUR years, four YEARS later.

This is a great commercial. Apple is not claiming that they own the world, they are saying they are inspired to innovate and explore the way these people did, unlike all the other companies that wait for apple to come up with a product and copy it.

Apple legally bought GUI's patent from XEROX, which didn't knew what the fuck to do with it. From a consumer standpoint, they really invented it.

Sorry, but I have to disagree. Xerox showed its GUI to many companies who might be interested in using their ideas, and Apple legally got the patents. AND Xerox's GUI did not have 20% of Mac OS's interface features. By the way: it's not Apple who uses the same 20-year-old code it's Microsoft. You can still find Windows 3.1 code in Vista. And Windows 7 is just Vista with some fancy clothes. The same crap.

This is utterly illuminating! Apple, as every other company, isn't perfect, nor are their products, but they WAY superior to their competitors, in design, hardware and especially software quality. We all should have this spirit of thinking the opposite way the establishment does. Leave the "me-too" thoughts for the Windoze users.
