Here's the first clip of me doing the pikmin desync, granted this is when i first figured out how so it took me a couple tries. I have more videos which ill upload later but the desync happens at the end. That and I was using two controllers to do it so i look stupid sometimes haha.

That was amazing! Mario hit him and the Pikmin used the Usmash where it was, too bad this is very situational and would probably be to hard to pull off in the heat of battle unless on accident :\

no thats not it. olimar didnt even slide. ive performed this 2 more times in last week tho so i will post vids up soon. and they were with purple pikmin too, and on one of em, oli slid HELLA far.i wont have em up soon. nice new discovery dude! but this isnt mine. sorry. or maybe it is, but not to the fullest extent. oli isnt sliding tho.

i think it is the same, your pikmin got hit during it and displayed the same properties. what your vid demonstrates is that olimar can move once its been initiated. I need to explore it further to see if i can roll/dashattack once i get it to start but i think its built upon the same principals

I did this with a white pikmin against a comp.(Charizard) I was thrown off the stage and I threw the pikmin over the comp's head and grabed the ledge. Right when I pressed A(to hit the him when I got on the stage)the Charizard used a smash and hit the pikmin when it was walking back to me, but he got pushed off the stage instead and I finished him. That would make this move an advantage to insure a safe recovery. I will experiment with that.

Could be useful, problem that I see, is that you need the pik to get hit while its relatively near you, and at the same time not get hit yourself so as to issue the attack command..

Yeah his recovery is enough, not to mention his weight. I came back from a 3 stock just by hanging onto the ledge a few times. He has an awful weakness, which is why it is the Olimar's duty to try and stay grounded to the stage. :P

yea olimar to me is like wolf in a way, whereas he would be the best character if not for his inability to recover... wolf is overall to me not as good on the stage but still dominates however his recovery is limited, olimar is perfect character absolute best with no weaknesses....on the stage... but once hes of its so easy to gimp him

If you run of the edge and take a pikmin(i mean the lagless way) and then jump back,you can pick the pikmin in the air and hit somone
