I just mean that some of the competitors died young because they were using too many substances like HGH and steroids. I haven't heard anything like that about Mariusz' health, but you never know what could happen with all the doping in this sport.

im 6 foot 3/4 inches too and get up to 290 when i lift hard. im an easy gainer and can starve myself and stay around 250. not fat, large bones. i couldnt imagine carrying 315 lbs. 290 i was out of breath walkin up stairs. i like having muscle, and im not down with cardio. cardio blows.

Actually he's not a bodybuilder. Bodybuilders work to make their body look as good as possible/grow the biggest muscles, not to lift weights, and this is often accompanied by the use of steroids, which gives them that really 'bulging' and quite disgusting look. Mariusz however is a strongman; he works his muscles evenly not for showing off, but for keeping his body equal throughout for the physical events. His techniques for each event are perfected, hence why he wins so much.

Yea theres is a big difference. Mariusz is alot healthier than many body builders because he doesnt starve himself or any shit like that to try and show his muscles the most. Hes just really F@&ckin strong.
