All of our steam system is down and under water so the major customers of steam, such as quaker oats and folks like that are out. And our electric system is out as well." I live here in CR, i wasn't effected by it, but TONS of people lost everything...memories can't be replaced -_- it was very scary..
When most of Cedar Rapids flood plain was evacuated, the river was estimated to rise to about 22-24 feet... it crested over 31 feet. There was no way they could have expected that serious of a flood.
