Obama's native American support - 03 Jun 08

Video Description:
In the race to become the Democratic presidential nominee, there are just two primary elections left on Tuesday, Montana and South Dakota.
In both states, large numbers of Native American voters view Barack Obama as potentially the first leader of colour to change the white face of the country's government.
Many American Indians still loathe the government after their ancestors were forced from their land on to reservations.
Al Jazeera's Mike Kirsch reports from the Fort Peck Indian reservation in northeastern Montana.

they put us on reservations!!! Lands they found useless to them!! my people's original land was 3 times larger than what your presidents gave us...
we don't have much money because your government won't follow through on their promises....
there was no way we could have known brutes were going to invade lands we lived on. were we supposed to know that greed had consumed the whites' souls?
We should learn from the past and we shouldn't say well, just because a african american did something bad a long time ago it defines every african american. That's like saying Hitler defines all Germans.
We should vote for someone who stands up for justice, and wants the world to be a better place. NOT BECAUSE THEIR WHITE,BLACK,
OR FEMALE.
