yeah blender is awsome! recently ive been using maya but wihtout having had experience with blender learning maya would be much harder. so if anyone is looking to get intobigger name brands like maya and so on then you should download blender, its free!!!!!!and its a grat way to gain experience in cg animation. and im not saying you have to use blender as just a starting point, its perfectly capable of creating brilliant cg animation!

This animation is awesome. But as far as a movie goes I think it's just going to out live it's purpose, I mean, how much can you o with this. Besides, the fact that Vin Diesel will be casted pisses me off, cus he is terrible.

I found this one pretty week. Blur seem to have the technical skill, but they totally lack any storytelling skills. Even if it's just 9 minutes doesn't mean you have to have characters as flat und unoriginal as that. And that alien sidekick just toally sucks. Not exciting at all. Those guys where fishing for Hollywood, and it seems they got what they wanted, but they definately need to learn that a story should be more than a loose connection of cliches.
