I'm questioning if they really managed to deliver a few the 50m boats every 18months in a row.
That's quite impossible I would say.
The guy doesnt say that they already did that with 5boats or something, does he?

Westport really does turn over a big boat every 18 months (100 ft+). Because they are using molded hulls, that cuts down their production quite a bit vs a metal hull which requires extensive fairing which takes lots of time and money to do.

what is the spec of computer that westport use to creat and render their models in?? We used to work with large models (7000+ parts) and our computer will take forever to load and render. we use xeon quad-core with 3GB of ram and a very good graphic card but it would still be a nightmare. this boat must have over 10000+ parts and it didnt seem like it was slowing the computer down at all? it would be great if someone knows the specs of their computer...

they gave us a tutorial and we had to design something...
