Ya umm no people just think because Superman was such a big thing trough out the 30s,40s,50s,60s,70s,80s but now Superman just sucks to the modern times because Spiderman can kick his ass Spiderman is smarter, and he has real powers Superman is an alien for god sakes he should have been in the movie Alien vs Predator. Spiderman was a teen for most of his stories. Superman is so incredibly strong. He can blow out a star accrording to comic books. Superman has gained power over the years too,so now he has telpathy like powers sometimes. Spiderman couldnt beat the sandman alone. Superman has saved the world from destruction so many times. Can spiderman save a falling plane? or even pick up a car with ease? besides.....spiderman 3 sucked.

Well you want to know something buddy Spiderman can stop a plane he'll just wait untill the plane gets in sight of tall Buildings and use his webs to slow it down and eventually stop it. And for information he stopped a fucking train in Spiderman 2.

what are 'real powers' by the way because superman is a lot faster, stronger, greater invulnerability as he can fly through the core of a star and not get slightly hurt, heat vision, super hearing, ice breath, wind bursts, increased healing rates and if you knew anything about comics you would know superman is omnilingual meaning that he can learn entire languages very quickly which i dont think spiderman can so i think spiderman can only shoot webs which superman cant. good one real powers lol.

he BARELY stoped a train in spiderman 2 and afterward passed out. If his webs were barely able to stop a train, i dont think the webs could help stop a falling plane. I love spiderman but Superman and Batman are much better. If you want to compare spiderman to someone then try daredevil or someone on his level. I guess it is not even fair to compare the 2 heros because supes is not even human. for a human hero..... spiderman is fine.

Ah, spiderman can't beat superman no matter what way you put it. Spiderman sucks. He is the worst marvel superhero. Most people like Venom over his worstless hide. Superman is smart, fly, cold breath, heat vision, run fast, super-strength. Spiderman: spidersense and some spider strength, fake spiderwebs. Spiderman first couldn't hit superman(speed), break his fake webs. Burn a hole in spiderman.

And not just some stupid rock, and Spidey's lost his uncle and his parents, and superman can't even remember what happen to his parents. And Supes is a freaking alien!!! Ummm. HELLOOOOOOOO! I admit I WAS a lil disapointed in the new movie but Superman does to have Superman villians (not in the movie...sigh). AND Superman lost his father who rasised him, AND He found out what happend to his real parents and his WHOLE PLANET. :( so sad for him. The ONLY one of his kind. Plus Clark is Hot! and Peter...he's ok.

From the past, I liked Superman, but looking back, he was all run in, beat some guys faces, get the key to the city, get out. No real planning or surprise. Spiderman... meh... He's basically Marvel's idea of remaking Superman. My favourite is Green Arrow and Batman. They don't have powers, but can fight crime just as effectively using smarts. Overall... Superman>Spiderman i guess...
