1977, LA Forum, Jimmy in the white dragon suit, Plant wailing, Jonsey slapping the bass, Bonzo the human hurricane, three hours plus on stage, and an acoustic set to boot. First time my Dad let me take the car to a concert. I was only 16 then. Still the best show I have ever seen. Zeppelin smoked that night. When Jimmy pulled out the bow the sounds that followed were unreal. Maybe I sound like an old fart, but those of us who saw them way back when will never forget how good Zep is.

and the Beatles
will ALWAYS be under-rated, because they are excellent...if you find one Led Zeppelin song that is bad, I will give you a thousand dollars..

Zeppelin is underated which i dont seem how they were the most popular band to ever exist
it must be that they dissapeared in the 80s due to John BOnham's Death. juss think what if he woulda never died.... they would made music in teh 80s 90s and possibly even still.

Well actually the most popular band ever is the Beatles. But I'm mainly talking about the praise Led Zeppelin got from critics. Or better said, the lack of praise.
Also over here in the Netherlands Led Zeppelin is definetly underrated and underappreciated by the general public.

I agree canOmark. It's hard to believe Zeppelin always took it in the shorts from most critics of the day. The Beatles may have been more popular( I think the Beatles were a fine band) but Zeppelin was the band of the 70s. I mean who didn't want to see them? I saw them in 77 and that concert was the only thing on my mind that summer. I just wish I could have seen them in 1970 or 1971 they were on fire and barely containable then. To have seen Page and Bonzo back then would have killed.

Late July 1977, Robert Plants son Karac dies. Of course, the band cancels the rest of the tour and returns home to Great Britan. Horrible thing to have happen, the poor little boy was only 3 or 4 years old.
