Marin Yonchev - The Winner of Star Academy - Bulgaria - 2005
Marin (born January 28, 1988) was 17 years old when he won Star Academy in 2005. He is also a composer.
In 2007 Marin has graduated the National School for Music and Arts in his home town Plovdiv - BG - with basic subjects operatic singing,contrabass and piano.From the autumn of 2007 he is a student at the Geneva Conservatory with operatic singing. His sister - Sonya Yoncheva is a soloist at the Geneva Grand Theater.

He has a good voice, but his performance is a little bit off. This could be because we compare his voice to the Rightous Brothers (or, at least, I do). If he doesn't speak fluent English, or hasn't spoken it very long, that could be another reason he sounds so off. Different sounds for different languages.

Great voice powerful, but interpretation was one of the worst from all Stars Academy, if that is the winner how the others made their performances I think he should song another song because this song was big for him

His voice is simply amazing. Even though his voice is good, he ruined that song. Obviously he has talent and voice BUT he needs to DEVELOP and train his voice especially while facing such a hard song like this
