This was really easy, took less than 30 seconds. I didn't even lose any health. Make sure you are dual welding with the dragon sword and archfiend's sword. Right when the battle starts and the archfiend is sitting on the ledge, run up to him and start spamming blade of the mind (x+yyyyyy) and you will do massive damage while stunning him which then lets you repeat that until he is dead. It takes about 6 or so combos. I managed to do this all in 1 try without letting him fly away.

If you look carefully, it asks you that your gamerscore will not be updated. You will be starting in level 1 with all items/essences/weapon upgrades.
This is because your loading an old game.
You need to start a new game, to set the new difficulty

i beat him in litterally less than 30 seconds, im not over exagerating, im being serious, but it took me forever to beat him, but i did it, with no heals, or any rebirth crap, but i owned him hardcore, u wouldnt believe how crazy it was, it was the absolute most l33t stratagy ever, dont say im a loser or anything, but i swear to god, if anyone saw me do it they be like, "holy crap dude", he didnt move and i owned his ass, and all i used was the double swords

I didn't realize there was 2 arch fiend stages. I used ALL my grains, etc and then had to fight this mother fucker. I used the scythe when he was walking around, and the blade of the archfiend when he's gripped on the ledge.

Yes, as many people suffered and frustrated with the consecutive bosses to get to the final boss without any break, it took me two days to beat the game since the stage 14.
As I could not beat the final boss due to its rigorous difficulties, I took a little break from the game and relaxed a bit. I went back to the game and eventually learned the pattern of the bosses.
Being patient and focused helped me to beat the game. After all the trouble, I realized that this is a great game!

It took me 30 hours to complete this game.
I didn´t have any health item either.
I am playing this on path of the warrior, and right now I have a talisman of rebirth and some healing items. You just have rationalize your health items for each boss. Thats it.
