Choice is dreaming again.... we have established that F1 cars CAN go FASTER than a Veyron, they can out accelerate a Veyron, they can outbrake a Veyron, they can corner faster than a Veyron, and he is still arguing that a Veyron is faster.... just give up on him he is clearly ill.

Well that is one of the worst cornering bikes out there. I have heard that cars out corner bikes and I drove them both for years but for some reason, it seems that the bike has the advantage as it can literally straight line the road and the road is much wider for a bike than a car. A car has to go round the bends where the bike makes each bend straighter. I believe that really tight corners are the area's where the bike has weakness. With a bike it's better to ride safe but they are more fun.

To be honest corestore, it depends how you set the F1 car up. BAR Honda set one up that managed 257 mph on a one way run at Bonneville Flats.

I own a busa - and from the sound -- i'm guessing he hardly hit 6k RPMS not even into the power zone in the rev range (my bad, kite boarding now gives me terms such as powerzone) for me --- if i had the choice between my busa and a new porche .. it would be my bike , but then again if it was a free give away -- would take the car - sell it and buy the new 09 busa with the proceedes:)

No, I will admit I have broken most of those but only with discretion, I don't drive to the extreme's that these two did on public roads, thats seriously taking the piss. Fair enough, they're both good drivers/riders but it only takes one mistake (either yours or someone elses) at those kind of speeds. And I certainly wouldn't want to send a Porsche travelling 80mph off one of those edges.

The video is intended to entertain those people who enjoy fast driving and riding. Perhaps some of these people can't afford the vehicles, haven't got the skills to drive at these speeds, don't want to drive at these speeds or like jossiqua, think that driving at these speeds on public roads is irresponsible and dangerous. Perhaps they can enjoy without experiencing the risk. If I find a 10 minute video that is boring after 1 minute I usually stop and move on. I don't continue to watch it.

It's surprising the number of anti-speeding posts that turn up on these videos. It looks like the critics are actively seeking these videos out. By viewing and posting comments these critics are directly supporting the videos. utube loves lots of hits. Wouldn't it be better just to ignore them? Posting admonishing comments isn't going to convince anyone to reform. The x vs y posts are all about ego. Who's dick is bigger than who's. Who's car/bike is faster, who's more skillful/daring/foolish.
