There was a sort of a rule among hippies when acid was outlawed, that you wouldn't unwittingly dose someone, not because Nixon didn't deserve to end up in the looney bin getting shock treatments, but because like in the Bush administration everyone surrounding Nixon was an asshole too. It woudn't have been Palin directing those hunts. That was back in the very early nineties. I consider China Kantner a friend. She was there too. I'm glad to hear she has sought help for an alcohol problem back in the late nineties. When I first met Grace, someone offered her a beer and she said "I better not." Later when her Mill Valley house was burned by a fire crew doing a 'controlled burn' she became depressed briefly and drinking didn't help. I like to think that's done with now.

I'm 41 I understand and respect your views, and no, I didn't know Obama wants to stop raids on med-marijuana labs. That's one good thing he would do. I do recall Nixon ordering a study on pot, and refusing to publish the results, making him a supreme asshole for it. But I would never give someone a vote for one issue without looking at the big picture. That is a big problem in this country w everybody deciding their vote based on one issue. So far Obamas appntees don't look too good.

EXACTLY. anything harder than pot to me is bad. i've done acid(only once, thank god) and shrooms and i don't regret it one bit, but also i will never again touch the stuff. Thinking it's funny to drop acid in the President's tea is so irresponsible and disturbing. She should be on the FBI list with intentions like that! Acid's not something that wears off in 20 minutes. ha ha ha. try 20 hours.
