This song reminds me of how amazing Steve Page´s voice is and how much I want him to walk away from court free. I don´t think it´s fair, though, to want someone to escape the law for being an amazing singer. However, it´s fair to want his name to clear because he´s done so much for greening the touring business, and everyone who´s had the chance to meet him knows how friendly he is. It´s unfair to hold him on trial and ruin the careers of several people just for one mistake during a rough time.

...well, actually, it is fair. he broke the law. thats not a mistake. a mistake is something you do accidentally. you cant just say "well, he's a good singer, so lets look at it a different way". if it was anyone else, you wouldnt care. your judgment is being clouded by your love of the singer. when you hit rough times, you get rough. thats why we are human, thats what makes us so powerful on this planet, and ability to psychological change to survive.

I will admit, I care more because he´s a great singer. However, I outright said that that´s not all. He, along with the rest of the band and several other musicians, are working on cleaning up the touring business. That is probably more than enough to cover for a little bit of coke. He does something that helps the whole friggin´ world and all he does only hurts himself and, unfortunately, his family. But the important thing is he´s definitely getting help, because he has friends who care.

I hope the charges against page are lifted. I only listen to a few of their songs, but they've got the stuff. There's bigger fish for the law to fry than good people like the barenaked ladies. Hurting a good band like this is the last thing we should be doing in these hard times. Best of luck, Page.
