I agree with you and being a Native American. Its his immature way of saying "I will never consider anyone natives if they don't look natives". To me thats just ignorant and immature. You can say I'm a native, I'm a native... a native to what? Take some pride in your heritage. Thats why when people ask are you a native or an indian, I say I'm a Dakota Sioux. Thats the point i was trying to make. Sorry it didn't come out as clear as i wanted it to.

no problem...same where I live in our native tongue we are Dine' or Navajo, but being that I'm and 2 tribes I prefer Native American...I was lucky enough to have gone to a school where many, many different tribes were represented and I respect all so I say Native American....

Love this vid...and it has one of my favourite pieces of music to it...some days i feel lost...but the native ways bring me back...my man is native american although we haven't met we are connected...i am disgusted with the way the white man has behaved toward a very strong and beautiful people...i don't know where my roots lay but being white does not fit me... maybe one day i will find out...thank you for sharing this....

I'm sorry to spoil your fun, but this is actually indigenous Scandinavian (Sámi), not native American. The singer is Terje Tretnes of Karasjok, Norway. Virgin used a recording for Dutch TV without persmission. The original title is "Normo Jovnna Luohti". For another version with Sámi lyrics (conveniently deleted by Virgin), look for Normo Jovnna by AIGI on YouTube. Virgin is sued for copyright infringement. Sámi joik and Indian chanting is very distinct, funny you cannot tell the difference.
