Mr. G is THE reason why the soprano sax is part of most every pro sax player's equipment list. The short list of major soprano players is: Sidney Bechet (early 1900's), John Coltrane in the '60's, and then Kenny G.
Like him or hate him, he's a game changer... and he's pretty damn good on the tenor.
