This whole redefining of the marriage is nonsense; and its ironic that obama wouldnt support it seeing as how blacks could not marry whites not that long ago. Did you know in the bible that marriage was simply a property exchange where a woman would be arranged to marry a man? Apologetics, i understand what you are saying about the girl scouts, but i could give a diddly if two men moved in beside me who were raising a child wonderfully and who cared. Call it what you want, you dont have to call it marriage, but they deserve the same rights as anyone else God made. Being Gay is not a choice, can you imagine being with someone of the same sex? I cant, so how can you choose it.

Exactly. Gays want to be accepted for who they are. And They are, But not all people always agree with the act. And with me disagreeing, can be a "hate crime" if i say "oh i think its gross". And people have been thrown in jail for "hate crimes" for just simply declining to take photos of a samesex wedding, or speaking their opinion. SO we are already being limited on freedom of speech.
So if we offend them we can go to jail for discrimination or hate crime.

I do have family and friends who are gay or a les and they are very loving and caring like you said.
I just don't agree with same sex marriage.

hi Mr Fix it. just got home. about a month ago I sat my kids down and said that no matter what I will always love them. if one or both became gay i would not support a same sex marriage, but i would support them in sports, break dancing,etc. i would not attend if they had a gay wedding, but I would not reject them because they are my flesh and blood. my kids understood and our not gay and I think it is not easy being in your position
