When he was told by doctors to put his son Rick in an institution, he refused. Instead Dick an Rick have spent their lifetimes together travelling the world and inspiring everyone the meet. You've got a point,I believe that out there, there are father who struggle, but they do their very best for their children.
There's so many wonderful stories like Hoyt's around the world, but we don't hear it because we don't know about it yet.
Mr. Hoyt may not be the father of the century, but he's sure a wonderful role model.
