its more of a metaphorical song I think; the upsides of having someone to do EXACTLY what you want them to do, while having the downsides of the emptiness of what such a relationship would have.....or it could be how she wants the possibility of having the perfect boy, doing only things she wanted him to, never feeling pain...idk; the Dresden Dolls are sorta vague in their lyrics and so it could mean a variety of things.

y'know after watching it a few hundred times I noticed that after the bridge that it seems that she's trying to convince herself that she's better off with her coin operated boy (she looks out at the guys hanging out outside with a look of disdain and anger and stuffs)

it was a tiny bar called the Cave, they made it seem bigger. It was a power filled performance. I met the band and their cool and don't give a Holyier than thou attitude twards the fans.
