journey to the west is the best chinese literature ever. the forbidden kingdom has monkey king in it, but the story its just weird...hope to see a real movie based on the actual novel.

the reason that it looks like he was riding a cloud and how most people would find that a "rip" off of dragonball is because the guy who made dragonball made journey to the west too. The artstyle is also made by the guy who designed the gorillaz fictional faces.
