Touchscreens are the future, just as how the mouse make the user interface better. We just need really good touch-algorithms and the processing power, which is being available "practically". Just watch again Ironman, "3D touch environment". However who knows if there are going to be someday 3D holographic screens... touchable possibly? Anyway I think the mouse it's going to stay!
