The 8C does not compete with any Merc, BMW , or Audi, so why should they pee there pants. Even if they do come stateside with a car that is within the price range, reliability issues have plagued Alfa when they were here earlier. Also, Yousee4, it is a bored and stroked Ferrari motor so you should hope that Ferrari does take care of themselves.

Alfa have not had reliability issues for more than a decade.
It is the German taxi drivers who won't buy Mercs anymore as their reliability has become so bad.
My friends BMW cost 60,000 Euro and had 25,000 Euro of warranty repairs in its first year.
Alfa compete with all German makes in most segments and the whole Fiat group has made an incredible comeback from the dead.
German cars are very boring, dreadfully over-rated and generally driven by sad people with inferiority complexes.

If anybody is wondering which song is used, wonder no mroe - David Holmes - 11, 12 & 13. It was also used in the Top Gear old luxury car challenge (at 29 minutes in the episode). Pondered quite a while where i heard it. THen i remembered - in THE most beautiful commercial for one of THE most beautiful cars.
