Aragall is good. Again, not my favorite, but certainly good. Costello has a pretty excellent instrument and have you heard of Lawrence Brownlee? He is a lighter instrument, but I like some of his timbre!

I don´t understand why people do mention other singers names here... is not enough what you see on this video? Comparison between artist is for ignorants (as me in english and many other things)... but comparing this tenor with ohter singers is just for idiots!

Pavarotti and Sutherland are the only true phenomenons in the world of opera : there is something supernatural in their singing abilities, almost genial, and that is why I love them the most, even though I respect some other opera singers, but they are too human for my taste.

Too bad Sutherland's diction sucks. Her voice is wonderful, but all I hear from her is 'lo lo lo lololo'
What can say about Pavarotti, this is one of the best I've ever heard of him, he actually sounds quite large here. This was a voice that recorded very well. He was great.

This isn't an attack on Pavarotti, he is my favourite tenor, but did anyone else notice how HUGE he looks at 2:37... By the look of things there, he was the width of two Joan Sutherlands.
But who cares when he could sing like that.

What a wonderful voice!!What is it with people that they have to make fun of others physical appearance? The value of a person doesn't have anything to do with what they look like, big or small. NO ONE else will ever sing like Pavarotti! What difference does his size make. He is the BEST!
I see a beautiful man, and hear a beautiful unequal angelic voice. Why do we have to be so critical and sarcastic? He was NUMERO UNO, and will always be NUMERO UNO!
