DES MOINES, Iowa (CNN) — Political endorsements rarely translate into votes, but sometimes the timing of one can carry great significance.
That's what Sen. Barack Obama's campaigners hope for as they pick up the backing of Oprah Winfrey less than one month from the Iowa caucuses.
The three-state "Oprah-bama" tour starts at a Des Moines, Iowa, rally Saturday in a space that can accommodate thousands. It then moves east to Cedar Rapids for an event expected to bring in close to 8,500 people.

Until then, please show me the part of the Bible that says anything about abortions, and also the parts that talk about peace and love and solidarity. If there's a God like the one in the Bible, Obama's on his side. You're not.
She could have talked about taking a shit and they'd all smile and applaud.
You're just hurting the conservative cause and therefore your country.
As for Oprah...stick to your talk show.
Don't forget christians get pregnant out of wedlock. would you turn your back if a girl you know gets pregnant out of wedlock? Would you tell her she was not a "real" Christian? would Jesus say to a young unmarried pregnant girl why are you pumping kids that you can't afford??? How do you reflect Jesus to the lost and daying world? By pointing your fingers? Jesus said we must dye to :self" pick up our cross and follow him.
Thank you
God bless you
I Timothy 2:1-4
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; (2) For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. (3) For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; (4) Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
