It is not recognized as an official national holiday... which means it's nothing.
Also the punks got exactly what they deserved. They were intentionally instantiating the confrontation.
Also the girl is damn lucky the cop did slam her ass to the ground as well she tried to run when he said you are under arrest. He was well within his rights to be less then gentle with her. Just because it was a girl doesn't mean she gets any special treatment.
