I simply thought this song was about a girl who rejected a guy through personal pain, but actually liked the guy, so she had regretted rejecting the guy, hence all the loneliness and healing in the song...
But of course, the other suggestions seem so much more sensible.

Amazing tune, almost changes the fact that the original done by Plumb was about sexual abuse. Even though the lyrics are the same, the beat of this remix changes that perspective into one of those get-back together songs! At least in my point of view :)
