I have experienced difficulty in getting border patrol to pick up illegals as they state in the last few seconds. We had 2 in custody, one a juvenile who committed a crime, the other his father. I tried to detain the juvenile (I'm a juv. PO) until border patrol could pick he and his father up but they wouldn't "waste their time" for 2 illegals.
So...lesson here...if you're illegal welcome to our country. If you commit a crime...feel free...just do it in groups of 2.

Reading these comments is pure comedy, shows the typical senseless mob mentality sparked out of fear that the government has learned to use quite effectively to control the masses. Everybody is focusing on the fact that the illegal immigrant got away without paying for his aid. The real focus is, how would anyone, legal or not from the middle working class be able to pay off a 1.5 million debt? We need to be protected from pharmaceutical companies and health care corporations more than anything.

Your point about the outrageous cost of care is well noted. However, unleashing millions of illegals on our social resources just makes it all that more broken. If it were an American in a Mexican or Guatemalan hospital, would they take care of the American the way our system takes care of them? I doubt it. Why is America such a bunch of pansies? This is typical of hospitals ran by the State that gets Federal funding, in my area you can't go to the emergency room w/o being over ran with non English speaking families.
They usually come in large groups, 25/30 people at a time always with one man dressed in a suit who I suppose serves as translator.
I have seen American citizens wait for hours, some bleeding badly, while the illegals are ushered ahead by triage nurses who look hispanic.
If you bitch about it security escorts you away
