Awesome tank - how did you set it up? How many gallons? What all is in it? I heard turtles can choke on gravel, so I'd use sand, but yours seem to be doing okay with the gravel.

ya i had to remove all the gravels. they got big now. i ve to upgrade my tank and also have to change water everyday. i ve seven fully grownup res with me now

here in india we get sardine fish almost everyday in the market and is very cheap. all leading fish food manufacturing companies use sardine as their main content cause they r very rich in protein and carotene. even my pearl arowana loves sardine fish more than live foods

My turtle is one years old.I keep them in 2007.
But one female is dead because she was left from my hand and we found her corpse beside cupboard.
Now I have one male.His name is Mince.I know that name aren't suitable for my turtle but I often call 'em.I feed the commercial fish food and turtle stick pellet.

I bought my turtles off the street and have had them for about 5 months or so, they are about 3 inches big now. Whenever I try to pick them up, they attempt to bite me. Is that a bad thing? and can it be fixed?

My Turtle is Sick .... the other one died a long time ago . I named him or her Superman
altho i believe its a girl , becuase the girls have the little hole on there tail closer to their bodies , and theboys are farther up their tail.

I love turtles and they are my favorite animal, so i know much about them. When they shed alot there is too high of concentration of chlorine. What you need to do is before putting the water into their tank, set it out for 24 hours or more. The chlorine, or most of it, should then be gone from the water. The problem of too much shedding or alot of shedding should be solved :D. Hope I helped.

Your turtles will eventually get used to you, they are still getting used to their surroundings. Pick them up more often, but if they attempt to bite you, it is best to put them back in the tank. Just hang around the tank so they see you more. If they bite you, you may contract salmonella, so be careful.
