http://www.dolphinstreet.com Demo of my new SX SST62 Strat. This guitar is dirt cheap but a decent beginner guitar and it sounds pretty cool. On this clip, I am using a Vox AD50VT on the UK '70S amp model.

While I think you could probably make a petrified turd with a refrigerator magnet and dental floss over it sound like a 62 Strat, the SX guitars are fabulous guitars for the money!
I have the SX strat with the tune-o-matic stop tail and I was floored by how well it played stock. They all seem to need serious setup but what you can get for $100 these days is unreal. Thanks for posting!

I was so impressed by the SX "Jazzmaster" bass clone, I thought I'd try the shortscale strat in vintage white. Though inexpensive, that does not excuse the company from making a guitar that can at least stay in tune long enough to complete a song. This, even after replacing the tuners. The neck box was improperly routed, making low action impossible without shims. The pickups, however...are FREAKIN' AWESOME. With aluminum shielding and you will reduce hum to a negligible level.

oh lol. i thought only a cheap guitar will have hum. actually the hum is quite little. there will be minimum hum when my hand touches the strings

You've got to touch any metal part of the guitar ;) It does the same thing on my strat. Don't worry. Now, if there really is very much hum, check your pick-ups.

Better get over it dipshit, almost everything is made in China these days. I wouldn't be surprised in 10 years if Strats were made in China.
