my question is this, Can Lord of the rings as a series ever be beaten? Harry Potter tried and failed... Nothing has ever even come close to the epic scale of lord of the rings.
His Dark Materials aka The Golden Compass, tried aswell... but failed too.
It's not ever going to happen:P
