1) First secret to get a healthy tortoise? DO NOT BUY FROM REGAL REPTILES. They import. Find a breeder that sells CAPTIVE BRED ONLY.
2) Its Agronemys horsfieldi, not testudo.
3) Cement mixing bin...WAY TOO SMALL!
4) Heat pad is next to useless. Chelonians SUN themselves. A merucy vapor UVB bulb will give LOTS of heat. If you need more heat, get another lamp.
5) Regal Reptiles is terrible. They are only about quanitiy not quality, and just in it for the money. The animals suffer for it.

Bad isea to use a heat mat because tortoises burrow to escape heat and if its burrowing towards a heatmeat it could overheat and die!

correct heat mats a bad for most tortoises as they dig to cool off! this guy "sean" is a joke! ive been to regal reptiles nothing to be proud of. they have so many dead animals most of which are in the tanks. they have actually been fined for in the past. thats why they opened up a new store which if full of cramped reps in small plastic totes. and a guy "troy" that u just want to punch in the throat. i feel sp bad for the animals. he says that he hopes we learned alot he said like 4 things????
