I'm so proud of the Marines. THIS... is the future of real combat. It is MMA... applied to real world combat with multiple opponents and weapons. Full on sparring in training, which is the best way to go.
Krav Maga as anyone who knows his MA knows, is marketing hype and a large bulk of it is cooperative type training... a queer mix of trad JJ selfdefense type techs with some karate-like striking. MCMAP has evolved way beyond this point.

i been wanting to join the USMC for about 2-3 years now, im a British citizen and may be moving the the states next year, does anyone know what actions i should take? i've already tried to contact the marines through the site, but i couldnt because of my current address and was told to contact the DoD, which i tried again, but couldnt get through via phone or email :\
if anyone has any information for me, please feel free to PM me, much appreciated.

This is basic/mid level jiu-jitsu thats been modified a little bit. Good stuff, my buddy came in from the core and we rolled and he felt equivalent to a blue belt which is more than effective. I notice he had some modified moves probably because marines ground fighting only have a short window of opportunity due to it being a warzone.

the best martial arts is a bunch of different styles mixed.Most of this stuff is done in the UFC with the exception of killing.I do Boxing,karate(black belt),judo(black belt)wanting to do brazilan jujitsu.
