I have been asked if I would consider doing more short films set in the HL2 universe.
I am currently in a pretty intensive film program but I am interested in exploring the combine further, maybe in a more narrative sense. Any such short film would be at a minimum 6-months away. I'll keep you guys informed if I ever return to the HL2 universe.

Wow. This was EXCELLENT.
Really top notch. I loved it. Sounds like Jigsaw from the Saw series, but still. The whole idea of how he views fighting for the Combine are interesting. It's cool to see the other side.
Production value was really good too. Really, really good stuff.

Excellent Job! Except one very crucial fact. Combine Overwatch soldiers and civil protection CANNOT AND DO NOT talk and think like that because they would once have been everyday people who are captured and taken to Nova Prospekt for SURGICAL processing and that means the Combine uses brain surgery to "brainwash" and convert them into TRANS-HUMAN soldiers. Long-story short, they rendered incapable of individual thinking and OPINION once they're processed. Nevertheless, brilliant short film.

That's based entirely on speculation and some of it is outright fabrication.
If the Metro Cops or Civil Protection were random people who were taken to be surgically altered to such a degree then there would be no way that Barney would have been able to infiltrate them.
The major surgery and non-psychological brainwashing is only for the soldiers and higher.

This has got to be one of the best fan films I have ever seen. Only the second Half-Life 2 one that I know of... and... wow. I love it. It's creepy. It's awesome. It's hilarious at times, reminding me of the Tom Cruise Scientology interview. Great job!! Please continue to make more HL stuff!!
