Neither, it was dubbed in the studio. The band was so unhappy with his performance that they cut out most of the songs he sang for the DVD. They couldn't leave out Rosanna so they re-recorded his vocals in the studio.

No shit. I read that they edited him (yeah, I was shocked, too) out, but I thought that just meant with the video editing.

No band ever puts out a true "live" recording. They all tinker with the sound. For example Kiss Alive wasn't "Live" at all. The entire concert was re-recorded in the studio. Something they took alot of flack for.
This concert was "touched" up as well. Check out "I won't hold you back". You can plainly see Luke has stopped singing but there are still vocals at :38 seconds. And the vocals in "Africa" are way too perfect. Especially the backing vocals, which sound alot like the original recording.

I'm a "child" of the seventies and I remember liking Toto. But I never knew they were so good live. In this version with one of lead singers in rehab. Still quite a great listen! Rosanna yeah!
