Jeff inherited the Beatles' geniuses of turning a very simple tune into a masterpiece. I don't how they did it or Jeff does it, but it always amazes me. Great song !!!

Lynne was one of the many artists who were told "3-D is where it's at" five or ten years before Toy Story came out in theaters.
Dire Straits had the same thing happen with "Money for Nothing", only since that song came out during the band's peak, that video's a cult classic.
Meanwhile, "Lift Me Up" sort of suffers. I'd like to know the company who did the graphics, just to see what they do today.
I love this song, along with the rest of the album, but I think Lynne has a thing for bad timing.

I mean, his second solo album/ELO tribute; Zoom came out two months before 9/11.
That just sucks.
And during the period when Armchair Theatre came out... Every Little Thing made the top ten, but in 1990, Lynne's genre sort of died out.
Again, I'm still looking for this album though, it'd be nice if it was remade for some sort of 20th anniversary or something in the future

God, this is a great song! When I first had the cd my finger got worn out from constantly pushing 'replay'. One of the great things I adore about YouTube--almost all of my favorites from every genre, from the 60's through today--all in one place and just a moment away. I'm spoiled and I love it!

No, the Wilburys did have 2 albums. This is Mr. Lynnes' first solo album. Has done solo work before (Electric Dreams soundtrack) but this was an entire solo effort. Has a couple of nice covers on it too! (Stromy Weather being one)
