TV Broadcast of the entire "Ever-victorious Workers' Party of Korea" held at the May Day Stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea on September 4, 2001.
Certainly the TV broadcast wouldn't do justice to actually being there and witnessing over 100,000 performers. This was pretty hard to find on the internet and very few people will ever see this outside of the DPRK, let alone travel to north korea to see their mass games.

A side note is that this is in the capital, where only privileged people live like members of the party. Another thing that will get them sent to the gulags is not keeping their mandatory two portraits of Kim Jong Il and Kim Il Sung clean. The state has people who regularly visit apartments to make sure people take care of these images. Also, like 1984, they have radio that can be turned down, but not off, and that broadcast propaganda non-stop.

Being the leader of a country also comes with its challenges I suppose, having to watch tons of "artistic display" of another nation's culture must be one of them. I'm no big fan of any of the massive carefully choreographed dancing/sinning, whether it's done by North Korea, China, Russia or the United States, being a old man, I suppose both Jiang and Kim were not really enjoying it, for Jiang is more into western art, and Kim must have watched the same stuff a trillion times.

If you didn't notice, the Korean words flashing in a long rectangle in the back isn't a TV. Its actually people with colored cards. Goes to show how unadvanced the DPRK is.
