For everyone that keeps commenting and saying they're Christian, they are. That doesn't mean that their lyrics have anything to do with a religion. These lyrics are important to the song writer for one reason or another.

Switchfoot isnt a 'Christian' band but they are all christian. Another thing, Christianity is not a 'religion' its a relationship with God. CHristians believe that you dont get to heaven by 'good works' because nobodys perfect and everybody sins, but by the grace of God. So they dont believe in doing certain things, a certain way, at any certain time religiously

Wow, what a powerfully original image.
I've always loved Switchfoot for that, though. Their songs focus on typical theme but always seem to express them interestingly. That's probably the greatest quality of any band.
