"Eleanor" is the best thing the Turtles ever recorded, which automatically makes it one of the greatest pop songs ever recorded, by anyone. Evidently Howard and Mark overcame their distaste for the song, because as Flo and Eddie they continued to perform it, to much acclaim.

They are also been known as the duo Flo and Eddie.
Ah, yes, and they payed with Marc Bolan as well, did all the backing vocals on "Electric Warrior" and "The Slider" albums, and all T.Rex singles from "Hot Love" to "Metal Guru"...

Mark and Howard also worked with Springsteen, most notably on "Hungry Heart." Ironically, in their live act as Flo and Eddie they always savagely satirize Bruce, doing their impression of his singing by sticking a shoe in their mouths.
