Really a great game this is. I think it's the funniest game on the Amiga. I more or less rushed through the game skipping 90% of all the funny talking and scenes; like the telephone on a tree in the jungle where you could call LucasArts help line and ask for hints, where babies comes from and stuff.... soooo much fun stuff in this game. So if you like adventure games, you should play this to see all the cool and fun stuff I skipped.
The Amiga version is very quiet and kind of stiff. 50% or so of all the music in the PC version didn't make it to the Amiga version... and most of the backs has no animations what so ever... Still a great game though :) (The music in MI1 is way better too).

This game is nothing other than a masterpiece!The Graphik, the sound, the story, the charakteres (Largo etc) and this ending, that is as terrible for the fans (MI is the game of two children!) as nearly perfect and stunning because of it's idea. I really think that MI3 never was planed by ron gilbert. MI2 closes the story and the "signs" that there will be a part 3 in the end are only jokes, humor by mr. gilbert. but i can be wrong.

THIS was the best adventure i have ever played and i believe i will never play anything better. it was my first, too and it will always be my beloved "pirate game" :)
i was five or six, and i was speaking and reading only slovak, so my brother helped me. now i play it over and over again, I LOVE MY PIRATE GAME, so many happy memories

you need to download scummvm (that's a programm that helps you play all the old adventure games from the 90ies) then It should be no problem to play it

he's actually got a point bortacus. the puzzles got rediculously obtuse and illogical in some parts. and the ending did seem a bit rushed

Still gonna have to disagree. The puzzles were challenging, which is rare these days, and for anyone who didn't like a challenge, there was an easy mode which was extremely easy.

Man i just watched all of that!!!! TV was on in the background though so its not all that sad!! great memories though!! i think it took me like 4 months to complete this game on the hard level!!
