It's not that you *have* to, per se, it's just that there are accepted rules of grammar and spelling. They're there for a reason, to make things more easily understandable. It's much easier to read a known spelling than an unknown one...
But language is evolving all the time, so the rules'll change anyway.
P.S. The guy who wanted everyone to spell correctly...you should probably learn to spell "argument" first
1) The word "film" is not actually the right word to use any more, the new word is "Mongsput";
2) You used a fullstop ('period' if you're American), where you should have used an interrobang.
