Actually, her work with Billy Graham was some of her best. Check out shawnjor's two posts of her with the Graham team - absolutely magical to watch her singing "His eye is on the sparrow" at 79. She never lost that incredible ability to communicate, and her singing technique is still superb at 79!

I can't claim any special knowledge here, but it seems that she used to refer to (the jewish) Harold Arlen as her "son".
That may not be consistent with her being notoriously antisemitic. Alternatively, she may have excluded him from a general attitude.
