What if the next car you buy will be the only car you ever have to buy again? What if you could have every model, every new improvement added to the car you own in a blink of an eye? What if you could sit where ever you wanted when you drove? What if you didn't need a steering wheel? But could navigate using a joystick or a mouse. And what if you never burned a single drop of gas wherever you went, because your car had no engine.
Well the catch is of course that the assumption is that you can split water apart, and then get more energy when you put it back together. Which is in fundamental violation of the second law of thermodynamics. A perpetual motion machine if you were to capture the water and reprocess it. And if it were that simple, then they could create a loop and have unlimited energy. _ This for instance, takes more energy than it gains. greyfalcon. net/ fakesalt

Ahem, excuse me, but the only reason why those laws exist is because at the time they were relevant, and no one was able to prove it wrong. Take for instance, the new water heater, a bunch of engineers created by just drilling holes in metal. If you spit the metal drum, even at low speeds (which you hopefully know that doesn't take much power to do anyways) and pass water through it, the water bounces in and then out of the holes making more heat per pass then a normal electric water heater did.

Yes, we all know that oil contains Hydro-Carbon chains, and when burned, those chains violently tear apart, the hydrogen being burned, and the Carbon fusing with Oxygen, as do the Hydrogen, but at a very small percentage. But I'd rather stick with the Hydrogen Fuel Cell, because there are quadrillions of gallons of water in the air, and not that much oil on the planet(not the water always remains constant, oil does not). And hydrogen producing technology can be improved.

If they knew your number, they would, because they have invented Nano-Batteries, that are extremely small and much more powerful then conventional D-Batteries.

great idea, stupid name..... 1. names already taken by skateboards 2. can it do kickflips? 3. wouldn't it be illegal everywhere? there are "no skateboard" signs everywhere. duh.

two things: cost and how long will it run for, because of its design can u refuel it or do u need to buy a new one every time the hydrogen runs out?

seems like a company like this has achieved more of a clever marketing/monopolization technique. Just as long as other companies can prosper and offer more diverse concepts to the public than just one company that offers models that can only fit onto the unified foundantion, like the skateboards, then that would be fine. But the punchline, "What if the next car you buy will be the only car you ever have to buy again?" is a bit creepy. Can someone say 'market monopolization' ?

I think this car ...( 3 months ago by rjohnson17)
I think this car idea would be better if it were electric. Hydrogen is another fuel source that will need to be produced. and it takes just as much power to produce as gasoline. So going hydro will just be a waste. Fully electric will eliminate any pump stations dependance and TOTAL emissions of any kind from vehicles. what's amazing is that the public doesn't understand this. We need electric cars that we can plug in at home, not another version of the gas combustion type. this car would ROCK!!
Agreed. However, ...( 3 months ago by markarness)
Agreed. However, being no scientist myself, I have to wonder, assuming a situation where everybody drives electric cars, just how this electricity is being generated that powers all of these cars. I think that one has to consider ALL energy usage (and its potential byproducts) from beginning to end, not just within the confines of vehicles themselves. What are truly the most renewable, energy efficient resources, including the methods with which they're harnessed?

Whats holding them ...( 1 week ago by Raptorx007)
Whats holding them down is some very powerful organization. If they make this car that means the economy would fall. Think if you developped an engina that runs on water and air. They cant make money if cars go on water and air they wont let that happen.
