lo, this place is called mecca, and it it's the center of islam, where the prophet muhammad lived for parts of his life, and where the revelation of qura'n came to to the prophet muhammad (P.B.U.H) through the angel gabriel, by the words of god. The "box" in the middle eas merely a symbol of the relligon and is the locaiton to where >1.5 billion direct thier prayers.
