i feel the same way! My dad was 75% Cherokee, my mom 75% Irish and 25% dutch, and so I don't " look" Native American at all.
I look all white, and i hate it.

I know that there are many tribal ceremonies, but does among Dine exist traditionalists which are not affiliated to any christian church? I knew that many different churches exist in Dine nation and medicine man are also present,but I not have concrete information about this question.

be proud of what you are !! just get a tan ,, people all over still Hate Natives , i was burn and raised on the eastern Cherokee reservation and i tried collage in Alabama, i quit after the first semester , i felt i would not survive alone in Alabama, ( they really hate natives ) thats life but now in this country if you are Mexican you get treated well, your children get free lunch free school and cops leave you alone ,, i don't understand why.

It's a shame most of our people have just become chapters in text books and exhibits in museums. I wish there was a gang/or group that Natives who want to preserve &&

Well alot of da original Nates were actually referred to as "Black" bcuz of there dark skin. Da nations dat I come from were dark skinned Natives i.e. Blackfoot & Crow, except da Creeks dey were more of da stereotypical "Red" ppl.
