I love B2M and The Temps, but to say B2M did it better is doubtful. We need to take into consideration the technology and audio capabilities we have today compared to the 60's. Also Also B2M is singing over their own voices to reinforce their harmonies. When they do the breakdown @ 3:02 you actually can hear Wanya's harmonizing when he also is singing the lead. If you hear their CD with this song it sounds eerily the same "live." No hatred here, but there is obvous audio help with B2M.

Here's your proof they are singing over their voices. Shawn is singing lead but listen to the different parts sang and sustained @ 1:53... Impossible to do with 3 voices.

Im not trying to argue with anyone... I was responding to an opinion... I am a HUGE B2M fan as well as the Temptations. Hell, Im 29, I grew up on B2M, got all their albums and can sing every lyric to every song... I just respectfully disagree that B2M sang Just My Imagination better than The Tempts. If the Tempts had today's audio technology, We wouldnt be having this conversation.

I'm like you... now at the same time you can't take anything from Boys2Men... They are the best male group of my age.. I'm 26, and i will say that.. but at the same time.. Their wouldn't be boys2men without the temptations... Its always easier as times go by to do something better than it was done before.. And now especially with all the equipment that is out there now that The Temps didn't have... I agree if they did.. we wouldn't be having this convo.. BUT... Boys2Men are so FYA live...
