It is being called the world's cheapest new car. Priced at just $2,500 - the makers of India's Tata Nano says it aims to meet the needs of the country's growing middle class.
But critics say the Nano will lead only to more congestion on India's roads, and increase air and noise pollution. Matt McClure has more from New Delhi.

Dude and you are talking a bit irrational here..Its very good to produce facts on a topic but just think about the Industrialization of India and when did it actually start....Indians started off their Industrialization in late 1980's and Germans with Americans was either colonized but started in 1880's or never were colonized...So India seldom does care about these things and its goin at its own slow pace..
And Yeah, India is one of the few countries thats hardly hit by the Recession...
