There was a time in ESC history where only English or French songs won, I mean mostly!So it was only confined to: Sweeden UK IRELAND, France, Luxemburg, Belgium etc! So there were alot of countries singing on there country's languages there were left mostly behind! So it's normal that now-a-days mostly of the songs are sang in English.Nobody want just to show and participate,off course they always aspire to win.Hence English.
